Keep it Wild!
Keep It Wild is a seafood consortium dedicated exclusively to promoting and selling premium, sustainably
harvested seafoods of the Pacific Northwest: CRAB, SHELLFISH, ALBACORE, SALMON and SPOT PRAWNS.
We provide DOCK SERVICES to fishermen. Our goal is to engage with YOU, the consumer or seafood purveyor,
to enjoy the most mouthwatering seafood you can lay your hands on, and to give back to the wild seas and to the
hard working coastal communities that feed us and sustain life on our planet.
Our seafood choices can have positive impacts on the environment and also provide jobs that are both
economically and culturally satisfying! Our products are not processed in China or Vietnam. They are handled
right here in the Pacific Northwest. You can trust our products, because we source directly from independent
fishing vessels. Our products are harvested artisanally, not industrially, using methods that are small scale and
selective. Our products do not move from freezer to freezer, or pass through five different companies. They come
off the boats, go through our local facilities, and come right to you. We can tell you WHO caught your fish,
WHEN, WHERE, and HOW. Wild and fresh, that’s how we roll.
Keep It Wild brings together companies such as Jolly Roger Seafood, and Crab Fresh, who have operated
for over 30 years in the Pac-Northwest. Each product we offer has been researched, both by ourselves, and
verified by environmental organizations, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch Program,
the NRDC Sustainable Seafood Guide, and Seafood Choices Alliance. Some of our products, such as our
North Pacific Albacore, have been environmentally certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
Our shellfish products are currently undergoing a certification including both environmental and social
standards, by the Food Alliance, of Portland, Oregon.

We want you to use this website to see for yourself. We rely on not-for-profit entities that determine sustainability.
We feel that traceability, and place-based businesses, are keys to beginning any discussion about sustainability,
both for the environment, and for people.

Keep It Wild, through its affiliates, has supported watershed restoration projects near our operations in the
South Puget Sound, Washington, and we will continue to contribute to important conservation efforts directed
at marine biodiversity, water quality, and sustainable fisheries. We look forward to increasing these efforts
as we grow.
